Christmas in July seems to be all around me. Every where I turn I see something for "Christmas in July". I asked myself this morning, what is this all about really? So I turned to the most "reliable" source Wikipedia and checked it out.Wikipedia explains that "in the northern hemisphere during the summer months the weather becomes increasingly warm and many people crave the atmosphere of cooler temperatures, gift giving and holiday spirit. (Yes we do!!) To satisfy this, some people throw parties during the month of July that mimic the holiday of Christmas. The features of Christmas in July include Santa, ice cream and other cold foods and gifts."
